The Slaak Rotterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is a design boutique hotel in the vibrant neighbourhood of Kralingen. A building that was once a former newspaper pressroom with prominent vibes from the 50s, is now an upscale design hotel with exceptional service and comfort. Words such as sophistication and style come to mind when you stay at The Slaak, since thoughtful design elements throughout the space have been picked out carefully to complement the history of the building, but also to make it the luxurious hotel experience it is today. We tried the best cauliflower steak we ever had at the hotel’s restaurant Didot34, where the staff are as knowledgeable as they are kind. It's hotels like this that make me want to travel, but then never leave the hotel once I arrive.
