Sundvolden Hotel is part of the unique membership organisation De Historiske, due to its historical significance but also considering it is the embodiment of Norwegian tradition. At first glance, this is a modern hotel with clean lines and minimalist style, but when you look a little further, you see how they have combined the old with the new to create something really special. The hallways and common areas are adorned with the type of furniture you might remember from your grandmother’s house. There is also art on every wall, which makes to stop and realise there is a lot more to this hotel than first meets the eye.
